In Tunerlifestyletv's effort to shed more light and transparency on the industry, we are doing something new. Industry icons will now be featured in Tunerlifestyletv articles. Now you can get inside information on the industry and how it operates. This will include magazines, car shows, drifting, manufacterers, etc. Now what is new about this? You will get to ask the questions. Here's how it will work:
- Tunerlifestyletv will name the person that will be featured
- A short background will be included
- Post your questions here in the forum
- Questions will be screened and forwarded to the Icon
- The article will be published
Our first interview is with Mike Kojima. Mike gave us this information:
"I have written mostly for SCC and Turbo but I have written for Honda Tuning, Modified, Import Tuner, Grassroots Motorsports and probably some others I can't rememeber right now. I have a book by HPand another one for Motorbooks international.
Been an engineer for Nissan, Nissans Nismo Program and TRD in the past. Currently do suspension consulting work for Falken Tires Drift team, an off road racing team and several Time Attack Teams who I can't mention. Some of the better known cars and drivers I have helped with are XS-Engineerings GT-R, M-Works Z, WORKS, Jackson Dawson Racing Scion TC, Billy Johnson and Dai Yoshihara. Used to race IMSA, SCCA and NASA, got hurt bad in a racing accident in 2006 and havent driven much lately.
